Da & Dunne Podcast
During my studies, I explored various creative hobbies to gain practical experience in content production. After completing my first videography projects with cooking videos, I began looking for a new challenge. That opportunity arose when I met comedian Sven Ivanic, who told me about Da & Dunne, the podcast he produces together with Jozo Briza.
This conversation led to a collaboration that lasted around two years, until the end of 2023. I was responsible for the post-production of the podcast episodes. My tasks included editing the videos with their intro and outro, synchronising the audio recordings and preparing the audio files for Spotify.
A particular focus was the production of short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram. The goal was to turn the most entertaining moments from each episode into Reels optimised for social media. I added bold subtitles as well as carefully selected memes and emojis to reinforce the comedians’ humour and capture viewers’ attention. At the time, creating subtitles was considerably more time-consuming than it is today because Adobe Premiere Pro’s automatic transcription struggled with Swiss German, meaning many sections had to be corrected manually.
The collaboration came to an end because of time constraints on both sides. Nevertheless, I look back on the project very positively. Alongside gaining valuable experience in social media and video production, a personal highlight was a Reel that reached more than 200,000 views on TikTok.
