Short Form Video Content
To further develop my multimedia skills, I looked for creative projects during my studies that would allow me to gain practical experience. Videography fascinated me most. At the same time, short-form content became increasingly important on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube following the pandemic. I was inspired by creators such as Albert Can Cook, whose fast-paced cooking videos impressed me both creatively and technically.
Cooking and good food are two of my greatest passions, so I decided to combine them with my interest in video production. My goal was to understand the editing techniques, camera perspectives and pacing used by professional content creators and apply them to my own projects. I invested in camera equipment and experimented with different lenses, microphones and editing software.
Over the course of the project, I published several cooking videos on my TikTok profile. One of the greatest challenges was planning the shoots precisely in advance. To make dynamic editing possible, I often had to adapt the cooking process to the camera setup. This allowed me to capture the necessary perspectives and close-up shots without limiting the editing workflow. The project helped me develop a stronger understanding of storytelling, camera work and efficient production processes.
Over time, I expanded the scope of my projects and began filming in urban environments as well. I wanted to experiment with different transitions, camera movements and compositions while developing a better sense of how different frame rates affect the final image. I also gained practical experience with ND filters and gimbals to achieve smoother camera movements and a more cinematic look. These experiments deepened my technical understanding of videography and helped me continuously refine my visual style.
